“Don’t Look Down” Nominated for Three GRAMMY Awards!
Dear Friends,
I’m thrilled to share that my latest album with Sandbox Percussion, “Don’t Look Down,” has been nominated forthree GRAMMY Awards: Best Classical Composition, Best Classical Compendium, and Best Engineered, Classical.

This project was a labor of love—hundreds of hours spent recording, mixing, and refining—and truly a group effort. These collaborations go back a decade, and the process of bringing them to life involved so many incredible people. You can stream the full album here (or watch this score-follow video below) from our wonderful label, Pentatone.

I was recently featured on CBS Sunday Morning this past week alongside my dear friend Adam Tendler (who was also just nominated for a GRAMMY) and several other composer colleagues, which you can watch at this link.

This month also brings the world premiere of “Of Being Numerous” with The Crossing and Present Music, with performances in Philadelphia (November 21) and Milwaukee (November 23). Plus, Lorelei Ensemble performs “Beaufort Scales” at Luther College on November 9, and there are several other exciting performances happening—check out the full list on my website.
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Chris
